Ever the eternal melancholic and a born memory seeker. I’m a husband and father, a photographer by choice and profession. I absolutely love what I do.

Photography, to me, is the perfect cure for the melancholic and the tangible evidence of triumph over the destructive force of time. I love creating memories.

FACTS”ABOUT ME....

BY NOW you are probably aware that i’m a wedding photographer, so here are some cool facts about who i am

· Please call me “Memo”, getting called Guillermo makes it feel too serious for me.

· I’ve been a photographer since I was 23, I’m now 35… I can feel the 40s creeping up!

· I was born in México City but I’ve lived in many places, including USA, Canada, Spain and the Netherlands.

· I’m a proud dad of a 4 year old boy, being a dad is the greatest adventure I’ve embarked on in life.

· Born to a mexican mother and a dutch father. Mixing it up since 1986!

· I’m a huge Lord of the Rings fan, books and movies alike.

· I don’t believe in “guilty pleasures”.

· I love boxing, soccer, cooking and video games.

· I’ve shot more than 50 weddings, and counting.

· I love my job but I love more that it makes people happy.

· I could live off of oreo cookies, it’s an addiction.

· My head is jam packed with movie quotes and speeches which I will recite without hesitation.

· My favorite weddings are destination weddings, there is always something special about being in a beautiful place surrounded by love and happiness.

· Family always comes first.

¿Are you planning a rehearsal dinner or an icebreaker event? or maybe a horseback ride or a “callejoneada” through the beautiful mexican streets? ¿Do you want to trash that dress? No problem, I can shoot that too. You just need to let me know about any special or additional events beforehand and I can make it happen.

Being a destination wedding photographer means I can shoot weddings almost anywhere in the world, so don’t hesitate to ask even if we are not in the same continent. Travel fees within Mexico are included in my pricing!
